How QHHT and BQH Started

After thirty years of refining her technique, Dolores Cannon, a past-life regressionist, hypnotist, and researcher of lost knowledge, began teaching Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) in 2002. Unlike traditional hypnotherapy that helps clients modify behavior through suggestion, QHHT utilizes elements of hypnosis to connect with higher realms and facilitate healing beyond the limitations of logic.

"What makes my technique different and unique from other hypnosis techniques is that I have found a way to go directly to the Source of All Knowledge. This extremely powerful force has the answers to all questions we could ever ask and also is capable of performing instantaneous healings on the body."  -- Dolores Cannon

According to what Julia Cannon shared, her mother was an eighty-three year old in good physical condition who had a very unexpected decline in health that led to her passing in 2014. It's been said by many practitioners, myself included, that Dolores shows up in their sessions, still pushing humanity forward from the other side. Julia now carries forward Dolores's legacy as the CEO/Director of the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Academy (QHHA) that teaches QHHT.

After Dolores Cannon's death in 2014, one of her earliest students and close friend, Candace Craw-Goldman, expanded on Cannon’s work by creating Beyond Quantum Healing (BQH). She refers to herself as Dolores's first Level 3 student who regularly assisted in QHHT's live classes and workshops from 2008 through 2014.

"BQH is powerful, heart-based, and above all; flexible. Practitioners and their clients are individuals, this method recognizes and celebrates each unique perspective" -- Candace Craw-Goldman

QHHT Then Versus Now

Level 1 online training had been completed with Dolores's oversight and approval, but all other online courses were left unfinished as a result of her sudden death. Julia had very little time to prepare for the role of CEO, let alone grieve the loss of her mother, mentor, and best friend. Julia has done a phenomenal job keeping her mother's legacy alive, developing an online course for Level 2 students, running an online forum for practitioners, publishing three more of Dolores's manuscripts, and everything else that goes with leading an organization, yet Dolores's absence is still felt.

While QHHA has upheld many of Dolores Cannon's beliefs, the changes that have been made are arguably the most important. In what seems to be an effort to preserve the original technique, the QHHA is very strict that students follow the process exactly as taught and do not change anything about the script. You can get a feel for the culture in this screenshotted interaction between a practitioner who wants to know the "why" behind the words chosen in the script, and a moderator responds by implying it's perfect as is.

It's widely known within the community that practitioners are heavily discouraged from making any changes to the script or process, whatsoever. This completely contradicts Dolores's wishes for QHHT.

Here is an excerpt her book The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth that demonstrates Dolores Cannon's vision for her students:

"...Some [students] are even attempting ways of using the technique that I would never have thought of. What better gratification could a teacher have than to have her students take what they have been taught and not be afraid to go beyond and explore un- known pathways. My method is not like those other outdated hypnosis methods that teach that you must do exactly as they say. That you cannot deviate even one word from the script. In my teaching I want the student to understand what is being done so they can think for themselves. As long as the client is not being harmed they are free to experiment. I have found the method to be extremely flexible. It is a living and evolving thing." -- Dolores Cannon

Fundamentally, the biggest difference between QHHT prior to Dolores's death versus now is also the biggest difference between QHHT and BQH; they have opposing views on what practitioner's should and shouldn't be trained in. As someone who is trained in both modalities (I completed both QHHT Level 1 and 2, then BQH), it is my opinion that QHHT did a better job teaching me the hard skills of procedure, while BQH excelled in developing soft skills. Combining the two modalities instilled a sense of confidence to bring the fullness of who I am into my sessions and into my affordable self-hypnosis tracks where I teach you how to Meet Your Guides, Discover Your Purpose, and Heal Your Relationships.

How BQH Differs from QHHT

BQH teaches practitioners to use a variety of hypnotic techniques such as regression therapy, guided imagery, and intuition much like QHHT which both aim to explore consciousness and foster growth for clients. What sets BQH apart from QHHT is that it is much more flexible, and allows for the combination of other modalities to tailor each session to the spiritual needs of the individual. It also focuses much more intensely on empowering the practitioner to have confidence to deviate from the script.

As I proceeded through BQH training, I was surprised as how much of Dolores's I sensed in Candace's teaching. I felt the clarity that Candace was passing down to me was directly passed down to her from Dolores. I could also sense the mutual understanding the two shared in terms of the importance of developing free thinkers to push the leading edge of what's possible and carry the torch forward in infinite directions.

While Dolores and Candace usually agreed on principle, they disagreed on execution. One of these topics revolves around the idea of doing what's best for the client. This isn't something that is talked about in her books, but Dolores was very intuitive. I personally don't know why she left that out, but I suspect it was because the content she was put in charge of delivering was already hard to believe and she didn't want to fuel skeptics any further. It was Dolores's opinion that no outside tools were needed and what is best for the client is to not add anything into the mix. BQH on the other hand encourages practitioners to incorporate their outside skillsets under the notion that clients are drawn to you because of your energy and to hold back parts of you is a disservice to the world.

Another example of a disagreement between Dolores and Candace has to do with allowing practitioners to practice remotely. QHHT practitioners are neither trained in or allowed to conduct sessions online, while BQH both trains for it and permits it. The QHHA has upheld Dolores's stance that one-on-one sessions should not be conducted remotely, as you can see in this response from a Moderator in the practitioner forum below:

Candace Craw-Goldman, the creator of BQH, states in her training course that while she agrees you should always do what is the safest for the client, she believes there are times when the best thing for the client is a remote session (citing examples from 2020 with patients in hospitals, clients in lockdowns during COVID as a prime example) and that not training practitioners in something they're going to do anyway doesn't help anyone.

She and others have hinted that QHHA is only maintaining the facade that online session are banned, when it reality some have had direct approval to conduct sessions remotely. To get the inside scoop check out this article. This why Candace dedicates much time towards training practitioners in the do's and don'ts of working remotely, to ensure there are safeguards in place to handle potential drops in connection.

While conducting a BQH session, I personally have had the connection drop out with once. When I asked the higher self what that was about, it explained they did that deliberately because she needed a new connection both literally and figuratively. In my car I have a wireless FM/Bluetooth transmitter that I plug into the cigarette lighter. At times, the channel that I have it set to comes through loud and clear, but depending on where I'm driving sometimes that channel has interference from a local radio station so I have to find a new channel to broadcast on and then connect through that for a clearer and stronger signal. This was the perfect real life metaphor to help me grasp the concept of what was happening on another plane. There are no accidents. These beings are well adept at managing our technology when it's in the highest good.

Choosing Between a QHHT and BQH Session

As someone who is certified in QHHT and BQH, I can truly say there is no wrong choice. They are both powerful modalities that share the mutual goal of helping you live a more fulfilling life.

It isn't the precise words in a script that bring forth the connection to the source of all that is, it's the intention shared by both the client and practitioner that does. This can be achieved in any modality that, at its core, acknowledges what Dolores Cannon and her clients were tapping into, and fundamentally understands that the only limits are those we impose on ourselves.

When trying to decide between an in-person QHHT or remote BQH, the question is which would be more relaxing? Is it easier for you to slip into a daydream in the comfort of your own home, or by traveling to a distraction-free environment in-person? The only thing that does make a difference is the practitioner you choose.

How to Choose the Best Practitioner For You

One of the first things you should research is a practitioner's background. What you're looking for depends on what you need out of a session. I highly suggest reading practitioners About Me page, checking out their Blog or YouTube Channel if they have one, inquiring into which modalities they are trained in, all to feel into if they resonate with you. What is your practitioner about? It's okay to ask your practitioner if they are willing to have a quick chat with you so you can really feel good about your choice.

Being a BQH and QHHT practitioner is about empowering you on your life path. It's about being right there alongside you, guiding you every step of the way as you lift the weights to work muscles you forgot about, knowing that your healing lies in the realization of your own power. Your job is to come ready, and my job is to help you remember you you truly are!

If you visit the BQH Search All Practitioner's page note this is not a comprehensive list and only shows practitioners who pay monthly advertising fee in that forum. I highly encourage you to slow down and take the time necessary to find someone who you resonate with. There is always a reason, and it's always right on time. There are no accidents!
